As someone always on the lookout for the latest kitchen gadgets, I couldn’t help but be intrigued by the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Holder while scrolling through TikTok. After watching the demonstration video more times than I’d like to admit, I knew I had to have it.

What sets this paper towel holder apart is its hands-free design, which has become indispensable in my kitchen. In a small space like mine, counter space is precious. With so many small appliances already crowding my countertops, I decided to install this dispenser under my cabinet, giving me easy access to paper towels while cooking and cleaning without them taking up valuable counter space. (Or, even worse, tucking them away in a cabinet under the sink, where they inevitably get soggy or dusty.)

As a chef, I’m always mindful of cross-contamination, so this dispenser has been a game-changer. The Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Holder allows me to grab a paper towel without needing to touch the holder with my messy hands: Unlike traditional countertop holders that require both hands to keep the towels steady while you tear off a towel, this one only requires a simple wave across the sensor to dispense.

One of my favorite features is that the dispenser retracts any unused paper towels, so I don’t have to worry about waste. When it’s time to wash my hands, I can just turn on the kitchen faucet with the back of my hand, grab some soap, wash up, and then wave my hand in front of the dispenser to dry off. It’s incredibly efficient.

Refilling the Innovia Automatic Paper Towel Holder is a snap, too. It uses every sheet of paper towel, and a red indicator light lets you know it’s time for a refill. In my experience, it works perfectly with full, half, or third-style sheets.
