Public invited to June 28 dinner meeting
Swoyersville Kiwanis is looking to help families and children in need through the Luzerne County Children and Youth Program. The club is seeking donations of diapers of any size, wipes and new children's underpants (boys or girls).
Collections will be taken through June 25. Items can be given to any member or placed in the collection boxes at our member drop off location between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Drop off locations in Swoyersville are: 264 Slocum St., 621 Church St., 58 Maltby St., and St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Hall, Hughes Street, Swoyersville.
We will also do the shopping for you, if you prefer. Monetary donations will be accepted at drop locations or by mail to the pick-up locations. Make checks payable to Swoyersville Kiwanis.

All items collected will be given to a program representative at our dinner meeting, set for 6:30 p.m. June 28 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church Hall, Hughes Street, Swoyersville. Members of our local communities are invited to join us at this dinner meeting and hear all about the program and assistance the Children and Youth Services offer. Cost of $15 per person, includes dinner, dessert and beverage. Reservations must be made by Saturday, June 24th. Call/text Paula at 570-288-6730 and to make arrangements for payment.
